Drain and Sewer Rodding
Traditional rodding involves the use of a thin, flexible cable machine (such as Rigid or Spartan) to create an opening in clogged drain or sewer pipes. While this allows water to flow through again, it is sometimes only a quick fix of bigger problems. In those cases, more specialized techniques may be required to clear drain and sewer pipes. Master Trade is equipped and experienced in various solutions for clearing blocked lines.
Power Rodding
Power Rodding is similar to traditional rodding, but involves the use of a flexible cable with mechanical “teeth” on the end of it. The cable is inserted into the pipe as the high-speed blades of the teeth clear roots and debris to create an opening for water to flow through.
Hydro-Jetting
Hydro-jetting (also referred to as jetting), is a process for clearing clogged lines by driving water at high-pressure into the pipe, thereby dissolving and and pushing the debris through.
Both Power Rodding and Hydro-Jetting won’t damage plumbing and are excellent options for clearing pipes and/or preparing them for lining or pipe rehabilitation.
